Java Developer
Retro Rabbit/ST21 is looking for a Java Developer to join our team. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of Java-based applications. The ideal candidate is passionate about building efficient and reliable solutions with clean and maintainable code.
We are looking for someone who enjoys working on diverse projects and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The Java Developer should have a problem-solving mindset and a keen eye for detail, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and Implement: Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable Java code for applications. Plan and deliver software solutions across multiple platforms. Implement contingency plans to ensure application stability and security. Create and execute quality assurance tests to maintain application performance.
- Collaborate: Work closely with the development team to design and maintain applications. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs. Ensure code quality through regular reviews and updates.
Requirements:
- Education: An associate's degree is required, but a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java development, including frameworks like Spring or Hibernate. Experience with front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.
- Computer Science Knowledge: A solid understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and hands-on coding experience.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication skills, a team player mentality, and a keen attention to detail.
