About the Role

We are seeking a driven Sales Development Representative (SDR) to fuel our sales pipeline and support revenue growth. This role focuses on generating and qualifying leads, building relationships with prospects, and connecting them with the sales team. The SDR will also represent the company at events, drive networking efforts, and help ensure our sales calendar is consistently filled with high-quality opportunities.
This is a quota-carrying role with clear targets tied to lead generation and sales pipeline contribution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach
  • Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and networking.
  • Respond to inbound lead requests and qualify potential prospects.
  • Research accounts, industries, and decision-makers to target outreach effectively.
Qualification & Scheduling
  • Conduct discovery to understand prospect needs and challenges.
  • Schedule qualified leads on the sales team’s calendar.
  • Maintain accurate lead details, notes, and status updates in the CRM system.
Events & Networking
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads.
  • Represent the company brand professionally and build lasting relationships.
Sales Targets & Reporting
  • Meet or exceed lead generation quotas and conversion goals.
  • Track and report on outreach activities, lead status, and pipeline progress.
  • Provide feedback to sales leadership on prospect trends and market signals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales development, inside sales, or lead generation (preferably in B2B or IT/managed services).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage prospects via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple outreach efforts at once.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales engagement tools.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a results-oriented mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience representing companies at conferences, networking events, or trade shows.
  • Familiarity with managed services, IT consulting, or SaaS environments.
  • Exposure to sales methodologies or frameworks (e.g., SPIN, Challenger, MEDDIC).
