Pre-Sales Solution Manager

Position Overview:

The Pre-Sales Soultion Manager will be responsible for shaping the growth and go-to-market strategy, driving expansion through upselling, cross-selling, and innovative solutioning. This role is critical in creating high-quality proposals, ensuring competitive pricing, and fostering strong client relationships. Proposal development will cover solution design, methodology, application/technical architecture, project timelines and milestones, team structure, deliverables, and pricing. The Pre-Sales Soultion Manager will collaborate closely with sales, delivery, and product teams to craft compelling solutions that meet client needs and support the organization’s strategic goals.

We prefer candidates with experience in custom implementation and delivery, good communication skills, strong client relationship management skills, and a background in supporting sales efforts through the experience gained from delivery execution.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Upselling and Cross-Selling

· Identify and capitalize on opportunities to upsell and cross-sell services and solutions to existing clients.

· Collaborate with sales and account management teams to develop tailored strategies for expanding client portfolios.

· Present value-added offerings during client meetings and solution workshops to drive additional revenue streams.

2. Solutioning and Proposal Development

· Conduct a competitive benchmark, understand the objectives, priorities, pain points clearly to align the proposal in meeting those expectations.

· Lead the proposal development of innovative, client-centric solutions that address complex business challenges.

· Lead the creation of high-quality proposals, ensuring they are aligned with client needs and organizational capabilities.

· Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., delivery, operations, and product) to create custom solutions that showcase the company's unique value proposition.

3. Pricing Strategy

· Develop competitive and profitable pricing models for proposals, balancing client budgets with organizational goals.

· Work closely with finance and delivery teams to ensure pricing aligns with margin targets and scalability.

· Continuously evaluate pricing strategies to adapt to market trends and client requirements.

4. Client Engagement and Relationship Building

· Build strong, trusted relationships with key client stakeholders, acting as a strategic advisor during the pre-sales process.

· Lead client-facing workshops and presentations, articulating the value of proposed solutions.

· Maintain a deep understanding of client needs and business objectives to ensure alignment with solutions offered.

5. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams

· Partner with sales to define and execute account growth strategies.

· Work with delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and aligned with execution capabilities.

· Collaborate with marketing teams to develop compelling collateral and thought leadership content for client presentations.

6. Reporting and Analytics

· Track and analyze pre-sales metrics, such as proposal win rates, revenue from upselling/cross-selling, and client satisfaction.

· Provide regular updates to executive leadership on pre-sales performance and opportunities for improvement.

· Leverage data insights to refine strategies and improve proposal quality and client engagement.
